about me

Recently the
the very lovely
paige
presented me with the
versatile blogger award
and I do thank you Paige for this honour.

Like me, Paige is a widow and she understands what I am going through
bless you Paige.

but I have been very slack about fulfilling the conditions of the award which are

1. add the versatile blogger award on your post. (done)
2. thank the award giver and link back to them in your post (done)
3. share 7 things about yourself (done)
4. pass the award along to 15 favourite bloggers.
5. contact the chosen bloggers and let them know about the award.

I don't know that I have a lot left to tell you

but here goes

1. I have a passion for Haigh's milk chocolate
(UK daughter says I have to confess this!!)

2. I think I want to take Janelle up on her suggestion to try more serious writing

3. I am scared about  no2.

4. I am scared about a lot of things now

5. I am learning
 new things about myself everyday,

6. I never eat processed food

7. I have become addicted to this!!!!!!!
(how much more processed can you get?)

Now who to pass this on to.....?
Oh I forgot,
sorry Paige but you need to know
 that because of
  this
 you need to know
 these
 things about me too

So my solution to this dilemma is....
I love you all
I think you are all versatile bloggers
otherwise I would not be following you
and so I award this to all of you who sit
on my sidebar
and I would love it
if you want to pick it up and run with it
as it is so very well deserved

You are all the
absolute

BEST!!!!

    1. Karena the desert is revoltingly yummy, very chocolatey without being too sweet. I refuse to red the ingredients as I know it will be full of strange sounding chemical things that no reasonable person would allow into their body but, as long as I don't know what they are I am enjoying one each night with a great lashing of double cream!!! My weight is not going up though!!!

  2. You are making your journey with grace and courage -- brava! And I agree -- you should do some writing.

    1. Thank you Vicki...every now and then we need to be told we are doing alright!
The writing is scary. I started my working life as a copywriter, went on to columns in local papers and then back to advertising copy. Can I do anything longer than 500 words? Ahhhh I would be more confident if I knew that but the only way to find out is to try!!!!

  3. Dearest Jules,

Congrats with your award and I'm with you, at least partially, that I do break those chains. Fifteen is way too many and very time consuming, so I have 'watered' it always down but you did far better!
IF I do pass them on it is always to help those that are still fledglings at Blogger start off.
Wishing you, as well as Paige, all the best and strength to go on alone. Tough at times, all the time...
    Love to you,

    Mariette

    1. Mariette I would love to pass them on if they didn't come with conditions.
I think I am going to devise an award that I can give out that does not need to go viral just my way of saying I love what you do!
Except that hey, I already have that, it is my follow button if I follow you I think you are pretty special!

  5. Thank you Maxabella it is lovely to meet another Dickens fan. A tale of Two Cities is a book I dip into quite frequently just to have the words rolling around in my head for awhile!

  6. Well done and well said ... I like how you handled this. And I totally understand your #4 point ... after 5 years it's still scary. I hope you're doing well - keep writing! Have a wonderful Sunday!

  7. Thank you Paige, I really was absolutely chuffed with the award but I have such a phobia about sending things on, even lovely things! I would have a lot more difficulties if it were not for all of you here, you are my reason for getting up in the morning,if only to see who may have commented overnight so thank you for being here and reading. Jules xx
