Do you think this
amazing fence
is metal or timber?
alas, I do not think it is
the very popular (around here)
punched chipboard, which I could, perhaps afford!!!!!!
On second thoughts I think even that would be out of my budget!!!!!
Wouldn't you love to know what it surrounds?
I'd love to have that fence around my garden - and that beautifully raked gravel too.
ReplyDeleteDo you think we would also need a large staff of gardeners to keep it looking like this?!!!!!
DeleteI'd say timber...have my doubts though...it's beautiful and in my opinion it would be perfect for a country estate.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and am your newest follower x
How lovely to see you Claudia, I hope you enjoy the ride with me!
DeleteI have a 1/2 acre block with an old, old house on it and this would just look so sensational around it but for the cost...oh the cost!!!!!!
SO sweet! Your blog is just lovely; I'm a new follower! ♥
ReplyDeleteAnne
Anne the pink chair and I always love to meet new people so welcome aboard!!
ReplyDeleteI see I am going to have some visiting of my own to do today!
It's a beautiful fence, very grand! Are there hoots of your house on your blog? What style is it?
ReplyDeleteX
If you go to 'once we were' on my sidebar it will lead you to my old blog mostly older than me the header there is a photo of our house
DeleteIf you know anyone who wants to buy a large home in original condition full of history just send them to me, I pay a good spotters fee if it doesn't go through the agent!!!!!!!!!!!
If you email me your email address I can give you the sale URL! and then you can see it in all its glory though the photos are lousy and the agent won't change them!!!!!!
Dearest Jules,
ReplyDeleteMetal I bet but remember: 'The grass looks always greener on the other side of the fence!'
Love to you,
Mariette
PS for a reply you just click my name and you're ON... Easy.
I think metal too now mainly because I think the matching urns would have to be metal. I don't know about the grass being greener but it would certainly be easier to look after!!!!!!!
DeleteNot sure but I think timber and it's gorgeous. Love the colour too. From your past posts I am catching up on after MIL's visit .... congratulations on your Versatile blogger award - so deserved and me too I LOVE Mary Wesley's books so much. Have a good week. S x
ReplyDeleteI hope the visit went well. It is always good to see you here and I miss your posts. xx
